To commemorate Autism Awareness Month, Hayden Consultation Services is initiating a monthly group to provide support to those who care about and for individuals challenged with living with the symptoms associated with autism spectrum disorder. The group will provide a venue in which participants can meet each other and build or strengthen their community ties, where important information will be presented, and where tools will be provided that will enhance the participants’ advocacy and caregiving skills.
Groups will occur on the third Monday of each month from 5:30 to7:00 at the Camarillo Healthcare District, which serves the entire Ventura County region. The group is free of charge and open to all who may benefit from the group, regardless of age of the individual who is diagnosed, specific diagnoses, or geographic region.
